My trip to B.C. from Ontario

My trip to B.C. from Ontario was very long and exciting. It took many days to get to B.C. So this is where my story beggins. It was the middle of summer and my parents were ready to have a garage salejust before we moved. We sold most of our stuff to get rid of the extra weight to carry across the country. Once we got rid of most of our stuff we said good bye to our friends and family. And this is the part of my life where we just go to head out on the road. As soon as we were done saying good bye to our friends and family. We were back on the road. The first place we went was the border to get into the U.S.A., then we went to chicogo. We stopped to eat and then were back on the road and we kept driving to Iowa. then we stopped to see the scenery. We also stayed there for the night because it was 12:00 at night and we had to rest. When we woke up it was 7:00 and we walked around to where to have breakfast. Our trip was only just begganning.

We ate our breakfest and got in the car and headed out to get into the next state. An hour had past and we were only half way through Iowa. It was 32 degrees outside and the car was so hot sitting in the back does not help. once we got through Iowa we were pulled over by a police car, I guess Ontario we drive a bit faster then the states. After my Day payed for the ticket we headed back on the road, we crossed over to South Dakota where we stopped to see the 4 sculpted presidents heads called Mount Rushmore, it was a little misty that day when we went to see the monuments but we had a had a hard time seeing it.

We only stayed one day in Mount Rushmore than we went on to our next destination. Half way over was the state Wyoming and Montana, in between those states there was a National Park called Yellow Stone. In the Park there are lots of nature things to do and see, Camping, hiking, fising and a lot of sight seeing, we saw Bisons, Buffalos, a wolf walked right in front of our car, and the best of all a big balthead eagle. In the National Park there are one major attraction it is call the Old Faithful, there are a lot of these hot springs around, steam vent, and a bad smell of sulfer on the geyser trails. the hot air from the earth beneath needs to escape, so it was very educational.

We had Bison burgars for the first time, it was good! We stayed just outside of the park that night and the next morning we headed out to Idaho. Idaho was not too exciting, after Idaho was Washington, we drove to Seatle for some crabs at a place call the Crab Shack just outside of Seatle, we had a great lunch, did a little shopping then we headed to B.C.

When we got into B.C. it was around 5pm and there was alot of traffic so we drove to Abbotsford and then back to Maple Ridge to my Uncle and Aunts place for dinner. We stayed at my cousins house for 2 weeks while my Mom looked for a house for us, mean while back into a school and the jouney was over, it was a long drive over 4,700 kilometers in 5 days but it's a trip I will never forget.
